INFINITI Warranty FAQ

We get so many questions every day about warranty coverage. What’s included? What should I add? We’re answering our INFINITI warranty FAQ at INFINITI of Columbus to help you determine just what you need.

Do I Need Additional Protection?

New INFINITI vehicles include a manufacturer warranty. However, that doesn’t cover all damage. We offer additional coverage options to protect you in the event your vehicle is damaged, and it isn’t covered by your insurance or original warranty.

What are My Protection Options?

As we mentioned, we want to ensure that you get the coverage you need. When you opt for the Total Ownership Experience®, you can customize your warranty and protection plan to include all the options you need.

  • Tire and wheel protection
  • Alloy wheel cosmetic repair
  • Windshield repair
  • Paintless dent removal
  • Emergency roadside service

Should I Purchase GAP Insurance?

Guaranteed Auto Protection, also known as GAP insurance, is beneficial for many car buyers, particularly those purchasing a new vehicle. If your vehicle is totaled or stolen, you are still responsible for paying your auto loan in its entirety.

However, your insurance company will only pay you for the estimated value of your vehicle at the time, which could be considerably less than what you owe for depreciation. GAP insurance covers the difference.

Do I Need Additional Coverage for a Lease?

Unfortunately, wear and tear are unavoidable with a vehicle. However, when you lease a model, you are responsible for its condition and could find yourself paying a lot out of pocket at your lease end. With lease wear and use protection, up to $5,000 of your repair charges may be covered, with no deductible.
